Darren Carter CPP MSyI FISRM

Darren has 28 years of experience in the security industry, including 26 in luxury hospitality. For the past 20 years, he has served as Group Director of Security, Safety & Sustainability at Edwardian Hotels London. He actively supports the wider security sector, currently serving as Chair of ASIS International UK, immediate past Chair of the Institute of Hotel Security Management, a certified member of The Security Institute, and a Board member of the Security Commonwealth.

He also leads the hotel sector for CSSC and sits on various multi-agency groups addressing counter-terrorism, protective security, exploitation, and fraud. Darren previously served eight years with the Fleet Air Arm, Royal Navy, operating across Europe, North Africa, and South America.
